
Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie declares to be presidential candidate in the up coming presidential election
Yul Edochie, a famous Nollywood actor and son of Pete Edochie, a veteran actor, has announced his intention to run for the presidency of Nigeria in 2023.
This remark was made by Yul Edochie, as he turns 39.
The former SSA to the state governor of Anambra took to social media and wrote:
“Happy 39th birthday to me.
Last year l asked for wisdom, you gave it to me Lord.
This year I ask for your grace oh Lord as I prepare to run for President of Nigeria in 2023.
To bring real Peace, Unity & Progress.
The youths deserve a chance to fix our Nation
So help us God.
Amen!”
Yul dumped his political position in 2018 in order to campaign full time for the opposition PDP’s presidential hopeful and nominee, Atiku Abubakar.
In a Twitter post, which he also shared on Instagram, Yul thanked the Governor of Anambra state Wilie Obiano and his wife, for allowing him to serve in the capacity of Senior Special Adviser.
