DO YOU AGREE? Ugandans Are Not Ready For Change And Freedom – Likewise Nigerians (See Why)

Ugandans are and is one of the poorest countries in the world with a dictatorial leadership for the past 36yrs.

A general elections were held in on the 14th January 2021 to elect the President and the Parliament. Incumbent President Yoweri Museveni, who has ruled the country since 1986, is seeking re-election. Do you know that he is still gonna win and remain in office for another 4 years or more?

1) Museveni. – 5,562,141 votes (58.89%).

2) Bobi Wine. – 3,263,309 votes (34.55%).

More results are still on the way, but it’s obvious that the incumbent president is going to be reelected again!

Who are the 5 million Ugandans that voted for Museveni again after 26yrs in power? I’m sure his total number of votes will hit over 7 to 8 million at the end. Are the voters not same Ugandans crying all over the media for help?

Rigged? Even if he did, not with such wide margin. He was actually voted for by human beings. Why didn’t they vote for Bobi Wine a vibrant and knowledgeable youth?

Ugandans don’t want to be freed from the bondage they’re in right now. Maybe, they’re okay with it.🤷

Beginning in 1894, Uganda was ruled as a protectorate by the UK, which established administrative law across the territory. Uganda gained independence from the UK on 9 October 1962. The period since then has been marked by violent conflicts, including an eight-year-long military dictatorship led by Idi Amin.

Uganda’s current president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, who took power in January 1986 after a protracted six-year guerrilla war. Following constitutional amendments that removed term limits for the president, he was able to stand and was elected president of Uganda in the 2011 and in the 2016 general elections.

Museveni is both head of state and head of government. He appoint anyone he like as vice and minister to aid him in governing, and can sack his appointees at anytime.

Transparency International has rated Uganda’s public sector as one of the most corrupt in the world.

For the second time, why didn’t Ugandans vote for Bobi Wine a vibrant and knowledgeable youth if at all, they wanna be liberated?Atiku abubakar

Same thing has been happening in Nigeria and will repeat itself again in 2023. Some so called youth, self-acclaimed leaders of tomorrow are already campaigning for Atiku a 74yr old man. Why? Y’all are not serious. SMH
