
Ronaldo breaks record in Juventus win over Sassuolo
Juventus superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo breaks record on Sunday night after scoring a 3-1 victory over Sassuolo in his side’s Series A.
Thanks to goals from Danilo, Aaron Ramsey and Cristiano Ronaldo, Juventus beat Sassuolo at Allianz.
For Sassuolo, Pedro Obiang scored a consolation goal.
Ronaldo’s goal against Sassuolo, however, means that the captain of Portugal has now become the only player to score at least 15 goals in the top five leagues in Europe in each of the last 15 seasons, having hit the mark in every campaign since 2006-07, Goal reports.
Cristaino Ronaldo as also equal Josef Bican official goals, remaining a goal to become the highest official goal scorer in football history.
Reacting, Ronaldo, took to his Twitter handle to express his happiness after the game.
The 35-year-old tweeted: “Another 3 very important points! Happy to have made my contribution!”
