Cristiano Ronaldo under police investigation in a suspect for violating COVID-19 protocols
Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo under police investigation in the Italian city of Aosta by police over a ski trip that may have broken the COVID-19 laws of the country.
On January 27, Ronaldo and his girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez, were seen skiing in Courmayeur to celebrate her 27th birthday, but under the current rules, trips to the ski resort are not permitted as Val d’Aosta is in an orange zone of medium to high risk.
For those who own a second home in the region, exceptions can be made, but according to ANSA, that is not the case for Ronaldo, whose actions are now being investigated by local police.
Corriere Dello Sport, which claims that Ronaldo and Rodriguez took a snowmobile ride before settling down for the night. In a hotel that was actually closed to the public, also reported this incident.
Ronaldo tried to keep the getaway under the radar, but on social media, images of the trip appeared and caught the local police’s attention. Since then, the images and videos have been deleted.
