Cristiano Ronaldo becomes top goal scorer….
Cristiano Ronaldo has written himself into the history of football, becoming the world’s all-time leading goalscorer on Wednesday night.
In the Juventus clash against Napoli in the Italian Super Cup, Ronaldo scored his 760th goal.
The aim was to position the captain of Portugal above the Austrian-Czech striker Josef Bican, who had 759 goals.
The 759 goals scored by Bican between 1931 and 1955.
Not only did Ronaldo’s goal seal the momentous milestone, but it also helped Juventus retain the trophy in a 2-0 victory.
In the 64th minute, he found the back of the net against Gennaro Gattuso’s men.
After a corner was swung over and Napoli fluffed their lines, the objective arrived, leaving Ronaldo with the perfect chance to thump into the left-footed net.
